Jipe Moyo is a Non Profit organisation that offer hope and empowerment to women affected by HIV/AIDS.
Its located in Mji Mpya, Kwamtei, a small village in Moshi and currently has 32 members which include 4 men and 28 women. The groups aim is to educate its members as well as others living with HIV/AIDS. Through group meetings and seminars they advise them on safe sex education nutrition and assist people with administering medications.
The women are also given small loans to enable them to start up a business that include selling of food, charcoal, chickens, knitting of hats, making hand cloths and jewellery. These business help give the women an opportunity to have a better life. This was where I bought the bracelets for East African Orphanage.
